About the Author Jamie Sutliff is an artist/sculptor/author living in the Adirondack Mountains. He specializes in life-sized wild-life sculpture and has done work for several museums including the Museum of Natural History. His work has appeared in over a dozen national magazines, most recent, the Smithsonian Oct/04. His interest in Native American research of early northeastern tribes led to the writing of 3 fantasy novels in series, based on Native American beliefs in magic.

About the Illustrator Kevin Evans is an illustrator who lives in Cleveland, Ohio. His work has appeared in magazines and on several greeting cards. He has a particular fondness for the Adirondacks. In fact, Kevin met his wife on top of Owl's Head Mountain.
