1.)  Receiving and Inventory Control

  • Our standard size pallet is 40" (w) x 48" (l) x 48" (h). Other sizes may create additional charges to repalletize.
  • A shipment’s packing slip is checked against the carton labels to verify the total units received. Cartons are not opened unless damage is suspected.
  • Inventory must have $100.00 deductible insurance through us or your agent; we require a copy of your contract.
  • Inventory shrinkage allowance is 4% the first year and 2% each additional year. This is necessary due to concealed shipping damage, misbound books, missing pages, poor printing, short carton counts from the manufacturer, and damaged inventory in the warehousing process. Any missing inventory over this allowance will be reimbursed at the insurance unit rate or, in its absence, the manufacturing (paper, printing and binding) unit cost.
