Summary:
Hear the secret
whisperings of God. Listen for his intimate murmurings. They will
come like the sound of the wind or the gentle break of waves on the
shore. Divine secrets are between God and his beloved. They are
spoken at night in the bedchamber in the darkness, not to be spoken
aloud. Secrets are held close to the heart. They are the sacred
things. When God whispers his secrets to me, I desire all
distraction and outside noise to cease. I am being led to treasures,
being shown the hidden. It is that which I have been seeking as I
wander through life. Secrets, although unspoken, are not completely
unknown, for they manifest themselves in the lives and relationships
they touch. And then there are those secret urgings from God that
are for women only. These urgings are held close to our hearts and
inspire a unique kind of love.
As I journey through
life, mysteries are revealed and I am honored, grateful and humbled.
It is that which I could not access alone. I am eager to hear. I am
straining to catch the subtle hints from God, for he will not force
his will on me. Freedom of choice is always in place. But he does
lovingly guide my heart back to him as if to say,
“I’m here, in everything. I will never leave you nor forsake you.
See me; feel me, in your loving, your labor, your longing and your
creating. Not one step, not one breath is taken without my
allowance, so that every step will eventually lead you back to me.
The pain, the evil you face within and without are not as powerful
as they seem. Believe in me, for I am all that is real and eternal.
My presence is always with you, so listen, listen and remember; the
secrets will all be revealed, for I am only a whisper away. Feel my
breath on your neck, in your ear, in your heart. It is the breath of
life. Be still.”

A Word from the Author:
Experience this book
with your heart.
I am presenting an honest and intimate look at how women view love
relationships—how love impacts their lives, what they desire and need
and the role the male “lover” plays in their lives.
I believe that loving and relating to men is an essential part of a
woman’s makeup. These writings express my own personal journey as well
as the universal experience women have with love.
To Men: Perhaps you will gain insight into what love means to women and
why we react the way we do in relationships.
To Women: I hope to provide encouragement and reassurance that all
women share similar needs, desires, longings, confusion and frustration
with regards to their relationships with men. I invite you to share this
emotional and spiritual journey with me. This is a chance to share our
“secrets.”
Excerpts:
WHY LOVE? A WOMAN KNOWS
(an excerpt)
"The essence of my womanhood has been truly felt in the experience of
the everyday highs and lows of being deeply in love. It has awakened all
my senses and called me to a most challenging and rewarding task, one
that all my female predecessors have known and groaned about, that of
engaging intimately with one man."
THE UNION (an excerpt)
. . ."Whether or not our desires are healthy, the truth of who we are,
in relationship to love (which is the truth of who we are) is known.
This is why the sexual is spiritual - a reflection of our spirit. . ."
SIMPLE MATH (an excerpt)
"I must can't add cause I had it all figured out and it still came out
wrong. I had counted up all his benefits and multiplied it with my needs
list and I still came up short. . ."
A PARTNER (an excerpt)
"There’s nothing easy about being in love with your soul mate; it’s just
that there doesn’t seem to be much choice in it for your mind and heart
move toward him like food and drink... "
