Summary

America is on the verge of World War III and the vice president of the United States is a traitor bent upon world domination. His plot to conspire with America's enemies and bring the world to its knees seems foolproof. The conspirators have planned for everything - everything but Lieutenant Commander Jake Gregory of SEAL Team 5.

As the plot unfolds, Russia sorties her entire pacific submarine fleet, placing her nuclear ballistic missile boats dangerously close to America's West Coast. The President of the United States orders two battlegroups to intercept the enemy threat. A major war at sea ensues, thrusting the world to the brink of a nuclear holocaust.

Just when it seems things couldn't get worse for America, it is discovered that Russia has secretly traded nuclear missiles to Iran, missiles the Iranians intend to use against the United States and her allies. American bombers are launched for a pre-emptive nuclear strike and only LCDR Jake Gregory can turn them back.

About the Author

Jeff Wade is a retired Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy with twenty-three years of experience in all aspects of naval warfare. Before he retired he was duel qualified as a Surface Warfare Officer and as a Naval Flight Officer onboard the P-3 Orion, and was qualified for command at sea. Having served on numerous ships, he has a broad spectrum of experience in Surface Warfare ranging from anti-air warfare to anti-submarine warfare on both surface and airborne platforms. He was awarded the Admiral Sides trophy for his anti-submarine warfare expertise. He also served on amphibious ships where he served alongside United States Marines and Navy SEALS. For two years he taught his fellow officers Russian weapons systems and tactics at the Naval Tactical Action Officer School. During Desert Storm he was the Tactical Flag Command Center Director, successfully directing attacks against hostile forces. Additionally, he lived in the Persian Gulf for two years serving as Joint Arab/Multi-national Force Interoperability Officer on the staff of Commander, U.S. Naval Forces, Central Command where he became an expert in Arab and NATO country weapon systems.

Mr. Wade is now living in San Diego, California. He is married to the former Mary Hamrick of Beckley, West Virginia and has three adult daughters; Jennifer Myers, Ruth Wright, and Sarah Wade.
