A wife and mother, motivational speaker, volunteer, media relations expert, actress and author, Donna Glanzman believes life is an adventure. She encourages everyone to share their unique gifts and blessings while making a positive impact on the world around them. With her new book, The Magnificent Seven Plus ONE, Donna brings her own unique gifts to the reader.
As a Public Relations professional, she coordinated the massive media attention that surrounded the implantations of the Humana Artificial Heart in Louisville, Kentucky. She has worked with such notables as Oprah Winfrey, Barbara Walters and Dan Rather, as well as CNN's Larry King and NBC's Chief Medical Correspondent Bob Bazell.
Ms. Glanzman managed an in-house Advertising and PR agency where she was responsible for weekly television shows, commercials and print ads. In 1993, she moved to the other side of the camera as an actress and model. Shortly thereafter, Donna launched DHG Communications, a consulting firm which she continues to manage today. At the age of 50, Donna discovered the highly competitive world of Pageantry. Four years later in 2003, she was crowned Mrs. All American and Ms. Ohio Senior.
Donna holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Kentucky and a Masters from Western Kentucky University. She has been a teacher, business owner, reporter and always, a committed volunteer. As the 2003 recipient of the prestigious All American Community Service Award, she continues to promote the importance of serving others. She works diligently with the American Cancer Society, The Childhood League of Columbus, Rotary International, The Homeless Families Foundation and Leadership Programs in several states. Faith is the foundation of her commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of all those she meets. She is married to Gary Glanzman, CEO of Eastway Supplies, Inc. and has three daughters and two stepchildren. Donna divides her time living in Columbus, Ohio and Marco Island, Florida.
