About the Author
Sally Ogden is an energetic and charismatic teacher and speaker with 32 years of classroom experience. She has taught French and Psychology in both middle and senior high schools in Jefferson County, Colorado. Currently, she directs workshops and conferences for teachers and parents throughout the United States.
Ogden has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages/Secondary Education from Colorado State University, and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Northern Colorado. In 1977, she was selected as the Colorado Teacher of the Year, and received the Honor Alumna Award from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at CSU. She has been an adjunct instructor for both CSU and Adams State College for over 19 years, teaching courses in Cooperative Learning and Classroom Management.
Ogden is trilingual and loves travel, racquetball, ballroom dancing, photography and gardening. She is now a full-time consultant and proud that during her career, her high school seniors honored her with the "Favorite Female Teacher" title every year!
