This book is an experience of faith. This is a devotion that does not apply to a particular religion but to everything that has life today. I gave immense attention to the themes and to explaining the course of personal revelation. The messages are clear, strong and appealing. The visions and dreams come across with great feeling and beauty. It will help you to understand the role of the spiritual in your life. Remember your heart is the New Jerusalem, and God is ready to rebuild the walls that have been broken. Everyday, I used to wonder, where is God?. For nowadays He does not speak to us. I wanted to hear directly from God and learn more from Him. I knew that if there was a God, surely He had good stories to tell me. God is faithful; He heard my prayers and blessed me according to my heart's desire.
I have used a real live experience and I believe many readers have gone or are going through the same experience. The questions I have addressed puzzle most of the readers, if not all. The readers are constantly searching for answers but most of the time they become frustrated and confused. The questions include: what is soul? What happen when one die? What is death and its cause? Who is God? Who is Jesus? Who is right Muslims or Christians? Therefore, this book clear confusion and set a new way of thinking. The principles are easy to follow and practical.
What is a Religion? We all have joined various religions in search of the Truth, Peace and Love. The Religion simply means a true relationship between individual and God. Truth is the only true Religion. It's above all religions that teach rituals, dogmas and doctrines. That's why, we all love the Truth, the True Religion.
Remember, every moment of your life is the most precious no matter what you are going through, so long as you are a life. Therefore, devote it in search of God. Be pure in thought, word, and deed and love all. This is the only way back to God and to win His love and favour. Repent your sins and become humble in His presence.
We all have equal privilege to draw from God strength to stand, wisdom to know the truth, love and peace to live in harmony with others. Our souls are created in the image of God. God is love and likewise our souls are love too. For all those in the light, we have responsibility to give love and compassionate to all those wandering and suffering in the darkness (desert) unconditionally but. Be kind and serve the poor and broken-hearted without expecting anything. Your smile will not only inspire others to smile but will attract angels around you. We shouldn't forget that God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain. But He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, healing and light for the way when the darkness falls on us.
God remember my heart is a small boat, your joy is my shore and your love is my anchor. May you God help me to remain in your grace, walking in your glory and also make me a mirror to reflect your love, glory, joy and peace to the world.
About the Author
Charles Elephant was born and brought up in a beautiful town, Mukurwe-ini, Nyeri in Kenya. His real name is Charles Njogu, but Njogu means Elephant in his language. He completed a Master's degree in International Finance and Economics at Brandeis University in 2003. He is completing another Master's Degree of Science in Management and Systems at New York University. He came to the United States in 2001 and lived in Waltham, Massachusetts, but most recently resides in Newark, New Jersey.
He came to know God and understand His ways in the early 1990s. Since then, his life has been changed completely. At first, he was confused and bothered because he could not understand his mission and his life seemed nothing but chaos. He wanted to hear directly from God and learn more from Him. He knew that if there was a God, surely He had good stories to tell. He longed for those good stories day and night, until finally God heard his prayers and blessed him according to his heart's desire.
He is inspired most by this passage from Isaiah 57: 14-21. The Lord says:
"Let my people return to me. Remove every obstacle from their path! Build the road, and make it ready! I am the high and holy God, who lives forever. I live in a high and holy place, but I also live with people who are humble and repentant, so that I can restore their confidence and hope. I gave my people life, and I will not continue to accuse them or be angry with them forever. I was angry with them because of their sin and greed, so I punished them. But they were stubborn and kept on going their own way. I have seen how they acted, but I will heal them, and I will comfort those who mourn. I offer peace to all, both near and far! I will heal my people. But the evil men are like the restless sea, whose waves never stop rolling in, bringing filth and muck. There is no safety for sinners."
His purpose in this merciless and bitter world is to bring together all the children of the Most High God to understand each other and find a way back to God. It is his responsibility to help others to build a good relationship with God by discovering the True Religion. His heart desire is to help others to rise above body-consciousness and have a glimpse of the Fullness of God.
It is his humble prayer to tap into more knowledge and wisdom from God in order to teach His children. His heart's desire is to write more books and to record music of Praise and Worship.
