Mary Lynn Archibald has been a woman entrepreneur since 1984, and a freelance writer since 1995. She currently writes for several national and regional publications. She and her husband and partner, Carl, with the help of faithful dog, Snazzy, spent 12 years attempting more-or-less vainly to run a cattle ranch in a remote region of Trinity County, California.
