Summary
This book is a collection of personal reflections which are short, interesting and sometimes amusing. They were inspired by the clichés, thoughts, memories and observations that occurred to Michael in the moment without correction or editing. They are characterized by human interest and are intended to provide enjoyable and thoughtful reading. Each writing is enhanced by a photograph which adds to the interest of their reading.
All of the writings are dated. Each date reflects where Michael was at that time and show a certain progression and growth in his person. I want to draw your attention to two writings in particular that were written in June of 1981. The inspiration which prompted them proved to be prophetic.
The first one entitled, “The Painful Now” was written on June 17, 1981. It spoke of an experience which we cannot run from and a call to faith to help us endure a present moment of crisis and pain.
The second one entitled, “A Rare Day in June” was written on June 25th, 1981. It speaks of the fact that human life, like nature, has its seasons. That what is outside will pass away.
About the Author
Michael Alan Paull is an ordained minister. Retired, he is presently focused on his writings. The subject of these writings is the human being and the experiences which make up his life. The strong belief and the core of his philosophy is that the realized awareness of what it means to be human is the discovery of the context in which all human beings, everywhere, share in common.
