The entire globe’s ozone depletion causes the weather to react ferociously. Mr. Spratton stole top secret gamma radiation deflectors from the United States army and adapted them into ultraviolet deflectors (UVD’s), to protect those countries willing to pay his rental contracts. He then begins his quest to extort countries to make him the most powerful man on earth. The kiwi scientist who initially found the problem, Dr. Jason Rhodes, is invited to NASA to help design a plan to stop the fatal and treacherous weather that has paralysed the civilised world, making her crumble to a state of simple survival for those scrambling to stay alive; while the high pressure stakes between the United Nations and TT Corporation try to outwit each other.
