About the Editors
Robert Twycross is Emeritus Clinical Reader in Palliative Medicine, Oxford University, UK, and former Head, WHO Collaborating Centre for Palliative Care. He is a founder member of the International Association for the Study of Pain, the Association for Palliative Medicine (UK) and the European Association for Palliative Care. He has taught in numerous countries, including the USA, Canada, Argentina, Poland, and India.
Andrew Wilcock is Clinical Reader in Palliative Medicine and Medical Oncology, Nottingham University; and Consultant Physician, Hayward House, Macmillan Specialist Palliative Care Unit, Nottingham City Hospital, UK. He is a member of the National Cancer Research Institute Palliative Care Studies Group, and breathlessness and cachexia subgroups; is also palliative care prescribing advisor to the British National Formulary, and a member of the National Institute for Clinical Excellence Lung Cancer Guidelines Development Group (UK).
