Summary

This is the first book on culture locking by the religions, it is made possible by the recent decline in influence and authority of religion in the west and particularly by the rapid decline in the number of religious fundamentalists who would normally use their influence to prevent the book being published, while it is not a condemnation of religion but does highlight the unethical aspects of culture locking which may yet be a source of controversy. Culture locking relies on keeping the culture carrying women socially regressed by denying them an education and a career so that in that regressed state the women willingly make fundamentalists of their children, children who grow up to be fanatical supporters of their priests and who provide the influence and authority of the religion, unfortunately for religion generally the modern trend of educating the women and giving them careers has resulted in the women tending not to produce fundamentalist children and the decline in fundamentalism has produced a decline in the numbers of church goers, this is a massive problem for religion and the book details the system, what is wrong with the system and also offers a road map for change that will ensure the survival of religion. Religious people too should read the book and pressure their priests to adopt the change described to ensure the survival of their religion.

The book also outlines our built in system of culture which is a classic example of dumb design, long ago the hominid women who were our ancestors first socialized in groups around a dominant male, they used a collaborative group system that reduced competition between the women and during the long dominant male period developed many social skills, the males had to wait for status to come along before they could socialize in groups making the males socially much younger than the females with less social skills and status was a competition that works less well than the collaborative group system used by the women, the nuclear family then arrived and the women were able to glue the family together using sexual attraction which is much stronger than the pair bonding which is still developing, all this makes for difficult cohabiting with a partner and the book outlines the numerous problems associated with males and females living together, the knowledge provided will be a great help in preserving relationships.

About the Author

The author, Peter Ball is a retired engineer who was born with unusually perceptive skills which allowed him to do cause and effect over long social distances thus allowing him to perceive just what people were really up to and who was doing what to whom and why, the skill lead to Peter adopting culture as a hobby, over a lifetime he was able to put together the big picture of culture and, being born in Queensland, the most socially deprived state of Australia where both religious and secular culture lockers operated openly was able to perceive the system of culture locking that is so well detailed in the book. He now lives in retirement in the countryside near the City of Canberra with his children and has used the free time to produce the book which is published in the USA because of the greater freedoms there.
