About the Author

Maureen Sullivan was born in Brooklyn and took the Coney Island Avenue trolley to its beaches in the nineteen fifties. She is a business and style writer whose articles have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Coastal Living and USA Today. Her books (E-SPEAK - Harcourt) and (Boomerangers - Thomson)are about effective communications in the workplace. Alison Josephs is the illustrator for Custard and Mustard. She's a graduate of Cornell where she studied painting. She also studied in Florence and Assisi and is a graphic designer who works from her West Chelsea studio in New York City. Ankle Soup was their first children's book.
