About the Authors
Heidi is a native of San Francisco where she pursued a love for the Arts. She enjoyed many years of teaching art to children, opening their eyes to the world and its history. Heidi was inspired by the experience of growing up in a creative family observing her mother, a painter, and grandfather, a writer. She lives in Davis, California with her family and their beloved Basset Hound Huckleberry.
A native of San Francisco, Joan taught elementary school for many years. She was inspired at an early age by the enthusiasm of her fourth grade teacher's love for books. A treasured book signed by Laura Ingalls Wilder led to her desire to write children's stories. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren looking at the world through their eyes. Joan currently resides in Davis, California with her two dogs Barbie and Max.
