About the Author
Nancy Reinisch earned her BA from Colorado College and her MSW from the University of Denver. She is a psychotherapist in private practice, a USAT Triathlon Coach for the Roaring Fork Women's Triathlon Team, and an
advocate of exercise to support cancer survivors. She has written articles for Parenting Magazine, Mountain Parent Magazine, Colorado Runner, and the Glenwood Post Independent. She and her husband,who have two grown children, live in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
In 1998, Reinisch received the Garfield County Humanitarian of the Year Award for her service to Garfield County; In 2007, Reinisch was awarded the prestigious Glenwood Springs Chamber Athena Award for her work on behalf of women in her community.
