This collection of real-life accounts shows the public that a majority of law enforcement officers oftentimes go beyond just the facts and are intuitive by nature, in direct contrast to the tough and gun-wielding officers who are often portrayed on reality television shows. About the Author
Detective Sergeant Ingrid P. Dean has worked with the Michigan State Police for almost twenty years in a variety of capacities including road patrol, polygraph, forensic art, investigation, and major crime work. She is also an artist, musician, and teacher. She holds a B.A. and M.A. in art and transpersonal studies. Presently she works at the Michigan State Police post in Traverse City, Michigan.
