About the Author
Bob Spence has been a teacher, school administrator, and has owned and operated several businesses. He holds advanced degrees from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. He is a lay leader in his church, a member of the church leadership council, leader of Men's Ministry and is a Sunday School teacher. Bob's personal testimony: "My designs are spirit inspired and spirit driven. I am God's vehicle to express these feelings in abstract art designs. Without Him, I can do nothing I have followed the Lord's direction, believing as written Proverbs 16:9, 'in his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.' I am doing my best to be a good steward, glorify the Father and introduce people to Jesus."

It has also found its way to my office waiting room, where is has been seen and favorably commented upon. Bob's special designs at first glance seem only interesting flashes of colors, but upon further look become inspirational messages demonstrating the many facets of God's gracious love. In the Beginning... This is a unique book that uses wonderful free hand art work to express some of Bob's meaningful and special verses from the Word of God. The pictures are so nice to look at and study and I enjoyed the accompanying stories which make the pictures come alive even more.
