Bob Nelson, Ph.D., is the author of many bestselling and practical books for helping to motivate today's employees, including 1001 Ways to Reward Employees (over 1.5 million copies sold), 1001 Ways to Energize Employees and Managing for Dummies. Dr. Nelson is president of Nelson Motivation, Inc., a management training and consulting company located in San Diego, California that specializes in helping organizations improve their management practices, programs and systems. He appears frequently in the national media including “60 Minutes,” twice in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Money magazine, NPR and a dedicated box feature in BusinessWeek.
