About the Author
Wenliang Tao was born and obtained his education from the elementary to university in China. He received a BA degree from Yunnan Normal University with a major in English in 1982 and then taught in both high school and university levels for nine years before he came to the United States for his graduate education. He received an MA degree from Towson University, Maryland in 1994. He used to teach English as a second language and translation between English and Chinese in Chinese setting and classical Chinese is his specialty. His major publications include “Usage of English Words and Expressions (bilingual),” “Chinese-English Expression Dictionary (Electronic),” and “The Art of War (translation, in print).” He is currently working on English translation of Pre-Qin Dynasty classics. His translations cover philosophy, stratagems, politics, literature and history.
