His journey through life has included the ups and downs we have all experienced, but it his relationship with God that poised his pen and helped him write a beautiful, touching novel that will make you laugh, cry and reflect on your own walk. It is a pure, wholesome book that all can read and enjoy. You will find yourself flipping the pages in eager anticipation, and by the end, you will be enriched from having read it.

Play 2 Win, Live 2 Serve is a remarkable story that Donnie Prince tells extremely well in his first book. Donnie has always spoken from the heart, and that's where this story comes from. My favorite thing about this book is the aspirational message that comes through at every turn, a message that young people and adults cannot hear too often. It speaks to the higher qualities that all of us possess, qualities that we should embrace as they are embraced by the characters in Play 2 Win, Live 2 Serve. The story is entertaining and the characters are developed in such a manner that you find yourself pulling for them as if they were your own children. I found the story personally inspiring, and it continues to inspire me, as I face challenges and tests of character and faith in my daily life.

Set against the backdrop of big-time college athletics, Play 2 Win, Live 2 Serve shows us that the heroes and heroines are not always those who score the winning touchdowns and smash the deciding volleys. More often than not they are just regular folks -- parents, coaches, friends and family members -- who provide direction and insight at pivotal moments. They can come from anywhere at any time, and often do in this book, as they do in life. They inspire us to make the most and the best of our God-given talents, whatever those talents may be.

I had an opportunity to read Play 2 Win Live 2 Serve, John 3:16-17 before it was published. I was inspired by the way the family in the story united together when things did not go as expected. The book illustrates how important morals are within the family circle, and the lessons on values are something any reader will find useful no matter their age. This is an excellent book, especially for teenagers and young adults as they follow the bends in the road that lie ahead for all of us.

I loved this book. I usually don't read novels but stick to spiritual and inspirational books. I thoroughly enjoyed the story of these young folks. They are an inspiration to today's youth to make God a priority in their lives and to do everything for the glory of Christ. It shows how God has a plan for all our lives and even in our deepest pits of pain and disappointment, He is our Friend and Comforter. I am hoping for a sequel soon, as I want to know more about these wonderful young folks and how God continues to enrich their lives.
