Another thing to be noted about this puzzle is in (Rev
13:1-2 King James) “ And I stood upon the sand of the sea,
and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads
and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his
heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw
was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a
bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion; and the dragon
gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.”
(Rev 13: verse 3 King James) “ And I saw one of his
heads as it were wounded to death: and his deadly wound
was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.”
The entire world wondered after the beast. If the entire
world wondered after this man, where is the Church? The
Christian people would not wonder after this man. We are
told that the deadly wound was healed and then the entire
world wondered after this man. The healing of the wound
must be the removal of the Church from the world, referred
to by many as the Rapture. This man will not be revealed
and cannot come into power until the Church steps out of
the way. He will deceive those left behind by taking
responsibly for the disappearance of all the people that
would be against him. He will go into the temple claiming
to be God. There will be a great rebellion against God by
those left behind because God did not take them. They
were not ready and they will believe all the things this man,
the antichrist, tells them.
( 2 Thessalonians 2 Living Bible) “And now, brothers and
sisters, let us tell you about the coming again of our Lord
Jesus Christ and how we will be gathered together to meet
him. Please don’t be so easily shaken and troubled by those
who say that the day of the Lord has already begun. Even if
they claim to have had a vision, a revelation, or a letter
supposedly from us, don’t believe them. Don’t be fooled by
what they say.
For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion
against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed—the
one who brings destruction. He will exalt himself and defy
every god there is and tear down every object of adoration
and worship. He will position himself in the temple of God,
claiming that he himself is God. Don’t you remember that I
told you this when I was with you? And you know what is
holding him back, for he can be revealed only when his
time comes.
For this lawlessness is already at work secretly, and will
remain secret until the one who is holding it back steps out
of the way. Then the man of lawlessness will be revealed,
whom the Lord Jesus will consume with the breath of his
mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. This evil
man will come to do the work of Satan with counterfeit
power and signs and miracles. He will use every kind of
wicked deception to fool those who are on their way to
destruction because they refuse to believe the truth that
would save them. So God will send great deception upon
them, and they will believe all lies. Then they will be
condemned for not believing the truth and for enjoying the
evil they do.”
