Patience
Patience is the ability to wait and not be tired by waiting.
Patience is the ability to understand
That others come before you do – priorities.
Patience is the ability to remain calm, understanding, steadfast, and true.
Patience is the reality that I’m waiting on you to do what you have to do,
to take care of your responsibilities.
My patience wants you to know that I’m waiting for you
to share a moment of your time with me.
Patience displayed by a man who wants to touch
your mind, your body, and your soul.
Patience is the ability to wait for a good thing.
Patience, my dear, is waiting for you.
I’m a Man!
I’m a man because I can stand steadfast.
Because I can admit my wrongs, my faults.
I’m a man,
not because I can make a child,

I’m a man because I believe in morals and values.
I’m a man because my father was a man,
Like his father, and like his father, and like his father, and his …
I’m a man because I don’t look down on my brothers and sisters
when they’re in need. Instead,
I lend them a helping hand
because it’s my creed.
I’m a man because I neither believe in nor live by jealousy or envy.
Because I’m at peace with myself and with God.
Because I’m a strong, intelligent, and spiritual Black Man.
I’m not only a man, but I’m also a King, a Nubian Price.
Therefore, I am!
